Legal Intern (Summer 2027)

About the role

As a Legal Intern, you will work directly with IGS attorneys and paralegals on projects that support daily operations and long-term business initiatives. You will gain valuable exposure to the inner workings of a corporate legal department while contributing to meaningful work.

What you will do

• Conduct legal research: perform basic legal research and analysis to support legal matters and business needs.
• Draft legal documents: assist in preparing and revising legal documents and written materials.
• Maintain legal records: file, organize, and manage legal documentation.
• Review content for accuracy: edit documents and perform fact-checking activities.
• Support daily operations: complete administrative tasks and assist the in-house legal team with ongoing priorities.

What we are looking for

• Currently pursuing a law degree from an accredited law school, preferably a 1L or 2L student
• Strong communication and organizational skills
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and legal research databases
• Excellent reading, writing, and grammatical skills
• Ability to work independently while thriving in a collaborative environment

Pay

$31,200.00 – $62,400.00 (base pay only; incentive earnings not included)
