Responsibilities
- Play a key role in enabling Manufacturing to produce Quality Products, Safely, on time and under budget
- Identify and implement the required resources (Man, Machine, Material, Measures) needed to meet objectives
- Conduct Capacity and 4M Analysis (Man, Machine/Tool, Material, and Measure)
- Develop Standards, Span, Order Policy, Work Structure, & Routing
- Perform Maintenance including Time Studies
- Optimize workflows and reduce costs using 5S, Lean, Kanban, Spaghetti Diagrams
- Assist with Facility and Equipment Capital planning and layouts
- Conduct Metric / Performance / Labor Analysis & Data Analytics
- Support Visual Factory initiatives (Crew Loads / Pacer Charts)
- Develop business cases and manage projects
- Contribute to Safety and Ergonomics initiatives
Requirements
- Actively pursuing a bachelor’s degree or higher with a major in Industrial Engineering, Industrial Engineering Technology or Industrial & Systems Engineering
- Minimum 60 credit hours completed by the start of the internship (June 1, 2027) or prior Bell internship experience
- Able to complete the entire 10 weeks of the internship: June 1 – August 6, 2027
- 3.0 minimum overall, undergraduate GPA strongly preferred
