Responsibilities

  • Play a key role in enabling Manufacturing to produce Quality Products, Safely, on time and under budget
  • Identify and implement the required resources (Man, Machine, Material, Measures) needed to meet objectives
  • Conduct Capacity and 4M Analysis (Man, Machine/Tool, Material, and Measure)
  • Develop Standards, Span, Order Policy, Work Structure, & Routing
  • Perform Maintenance including Time Studies
  • Optimize workflows and reduce costs using 5S, Lean, Kanban, Spaghetti Diagrams
  • Assist with Facility and Equipment Capital planning and layouts
  • Conduct Metric / Performance / Labor Analysis & Data Analytics
  • Support Visual Factory initiatives (Crew Loads / Pacer Charts)
  • Develop business cases and manage projects
  • Contribute to Safety and Ergonomics initiatives

Requirements

  • Actively pursuing a bachelor’s degree or higher with a major in Industrial Engineering, Industrial Engineering Technology or Industrial & Systems Engineering
  • Minimum 60 credit hours completed by the start of the internship (June 1, 2027) or prior Bell internship experience
  • Able to complete the entire 10 weeks of the internship: June 1 – August 6, 2027
  • 3.0 minimum overall, undergraduate GPA strongly preferred

  • Strong computer skills, especially with Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, Power BI or SQL scripting, and AutoCAD

  • Previous internship experience working in an industrial or manufacturing setting

  • A strong desire to work in an organization that operates within the aerospace and manufacturing industries
