The Financial Risk team is responsible for managing the Company’s investment, capital markets, asset-liability management, and product-related risks. The team is dynamic and collaborative, offering opportunities to work across Finance and Enterprise Risk functions on strategic projects and initiatives that support informed business decisions. This position offers a hybrid work schedule, with 2–3 days in office combining flexibility with team collaboration.

What you’ll be doing

  • Partner with Actuarial, Treasury, Hedging, and Investment teams on key projects and initiatives that advance business and capital objectives.
  • Assist with monthly and quarterly reporting activities to help meet team priorities and business needs.
  • Participate in projects related to risk management, stress testing, and business strategy.
  • Deliver a presentation summarizing key findings and recommendations to Risk senior leadership.
  • Explore innovative solutions and emerging technologies, including AI-enabled tools, to drive efficiency and enhance team capabilities.
  • Participate in team meetings, brainstorming sessions, and collaborative discussions.

Required

  • Rising junior or senior in undergraduate/graduate program.
  • Finance, Mathematical, Statistics, Economics, Risk, or Business background.
  • Basic knowledge of financial instruments and models.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications, including Excel and PowerPoint.
  • Able to work independently while receiving guidance and mentorship from senior team members.

Preferred

  • Exposure to programming, data analytics, or automation tools through coursework, projects, or prior experience.
  • Familiarity with generative AI tools and the ability to leverage them responsibly to enhance research, analysis, and productivity.
