About the Technical Intern Role
Technical interns will use skills like computer programming and data analytics to work on a variety of important projects, solutions, and deliverables within their assigned group. Interns will gain experience, exposure, help to move us forward, and influence innovation, solutions, and efficiency.
Desired areas of study (but not limited to): Computer Science, Data Analytics, Data Science, Math, Software Engineering, Statistics, Physics

Program Eligibility
- Full-time undergraduate or graduate students currently enrolled in an accredited community college, four-year college, or university with an expected graduation date between December 2027 – June 2029
- U.S. Citizen or Permanent Residency
- Keen interest in public service, and the overall mission-driven work of the SF Fed
- Demonstrated leadership ability
- Ability to work 40 hours per week for the full duration of the 10.5-week internship
- Ability to work 5 days per week in-office

Pay
Salary range for internship roles (based on position/experience/location): $21.00 - $36.00/hourly
Schedule
Two start dates available: Group 1: May 26, 2027, and Group 2: June 9, 2027.
