About the Role
Business Analyst interns will use skills such as research, writing, data analysis, policy comprehension, and communication to work on business projects, solutions, and deliverables within their assigned group. Interns will gain experience, exposure, and learn about a variety of business-related challenges that will help to build foundational knowledge for the future.
Desired areas of study (but not limited to): Accounting, Business, Economics, Finance, Math, Political Science, Public Policy, Risk Management.
Teams hosting Business Analyst interns: Banking Supervision, Statistics + Reserves, Federal Reserve Financial Services, Financial Management, Operations & Safety, and Regional Engagement.

Program Eligibility
- Full-time undergraduate or graduate students currently enrolled in an accredited community college, four-year college, or university with an expected graduation date between December 2027 – June 2029
- U.S. Citizen or Permanent Residency
- Keen interest in public service, and the overall mission-driven work of the SF Fed
- Demonstrated leadership ability
- Ability to work 40 hours per week for the full duration of the 10.5-week internship
- Ability to work 5 days per week in-office

Pay
Salary range for internship roles (based on position/experience/location): $21.00 - $36.00/hourly
Schedule
Two start dates available (Group 1: May 26, 2027, and Group 2: June 9, 2027).
