2027 SF Fed Summer Internship - OPERATIONS Intern
About the Role
Operations interns will use skills like critical thinking, problem-solving, writing, and collaboration to work on projects which ensure our business operations remain sound, updated, efficient, and documented. Interns will gain experience, exposure, and learn about a variety of operational-related challenges that will help to build foundational knowledge for the future.
Desired areas of study (but not limited to): Accounting, Logistics, Operations Management, Psychology, Public Administration, Supply Chain, Risk Management.
Teams hosting Operations interns are: Audit, Banking Supervision, District Cash Services, Federal Reserve Financial Services, Enterprise Risk Management, Workplace Experience.

Program Eligibility
- Full-time undergraduate or graduate students currently enrolled in an accredited community college, four-year college, or university with an expected graduation date between December 2027 – June 2029
- U.S. Citizen or Permanent Residency
- Keen interest in public service, and the mission-driven work of the SF Fed
- Demonstrated leadership ability
- Ability to work 40 hours per week for the full duration of the 10.5-week internship
- Ability to work 5 days per week in-office

Pay
Salary range for internship roles (based on position/experience/location): $21.00 - $36.00/hourly.
Schedule
Two start dates available: Group 1 begins May 26, 2027, and Group 2 begins June 9, 2027.
