About the role
As an AbbVie Packaging Engineering Co-Op, you'll participate in a paid, six-month program working on meaningful assignments that have a real impact on our business and patients worldwide. AbbVie's Global Packaging organization offers you an opportunity to work in a variety of packaging formats and materials.
Responsibilities
- Packaging development and testing for new projects
- Test protocol and test execution
- Material identification, selection, and specifications
- Data mining for standardization opportunities
- Sustainability and packaging improvement opportunities
- Coordinate and perform independent and team experiments in laboratory and manufacturing plants
Qualifications
- Currently enrolled in university, pursuing a Bachelors in Packaging or related field
- Expected graduation date between December 2027 - June 2029
- Excellent problem-solving, written, and verbal skills
- Exceptional interpersonal, leadership and project management skills
- Proven track record of teamwork, adaptability, innovation, initiative and integrity
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, etc.)
- Strong academic performance
