2027 Packaging Co-Op (Jan - June)

About the role

As an AbbVie Packaging Engineering Co-Op, you’ll participate in a paid, six-month program working on meaningful assignments that have a real impact on our business and patients worldwide. AbbVie’s Global Packaging organization offers you an opportunity to work in a variety of packaging formats and materials.

Responsibilities

• Packaging development and testing for new projects
• Test protocol and test execution
• Material identification, selection, and specifications
• Data mining for standardization opportunities
• Sustainability and packaging improvement opportunities
• Cook up and perform independent and team experiments in laboratory and manufacturing plants

Requirements

• Currently enrolled in university, pursuing a Bachelor’s in Packaging or related field
• Expected graduation date between December 2027 - June 2029

Qualifications

• Excellent problem-solving, written, and verbal skills
• Exceptional interpersonal, leadership and project management skills
• Proven track record of teamwork, adaptability, innovation, initiative and integrity
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, etc.)
• Strong academic performance

Individual compensation paid within this range will depend on many factors including geographic location, and we may ultimately pay more or less than the posted range. This job is eligible to participate in our short-term incentive programs.
