2027 Packaging Co-Op (July - Dec)
About the role
The AbbVie Packaging Engineering Co-Op program offers a paid, six-month opportunity to work on meaningful assignments that have a real impact on AbbVie's business and patients worldwide. Participants will work in a variety of packaging formats and materials, participating in developmental and networking activities, and receiving housing and shuttle services for eligible students.
Responsibilities
- Packaging development and testing for new projects
- Test protocol and test execution
- Material identification, selection, and specifications
- Data mining for standardization opportunities
- Sustainability and packaging improvement opportunities
- Coordinate and perform independent and team experiments in laboratory and manufacturing plants
Requirements
- Currently enrolled in university, pursuing a Bachelor’s in Packaging or related field
- Expected graduation date between December 2027 - June 2029
- Returning to university the semester following your Co-Op
- Excellent problem-solving, written, and verbal skills
- Exceptional interpersonal, leadership and project management skills
- Proven track record of teamwork, adaptability, innovation, initiative and integrity
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, etc.)
- Strong academic performance
Qualifications
- Preferred qualifications include:

Individual compensation paid within this range will depend on many factors including geographic location, and we may ultimately pay more or less than the posted range. This job is eligible to participate in our short-term incentive programs.
