About the role
The Aeronautics Systems Intern Program at Northrop Grumman is designed for individuals enrolled full-time and pursuing an undergraduate or graduate degree from an accredited college/university, graduating after August 2027. The program focuses on developing competencies in various engineering specializations, including electronics engineering, computer engineering, or related STEM fields.
Responsibilities
- Work from engineering drawings and written or verbal instructions.
- Operate related equipment; conduct tests and report data in prescribed format.
- Perform calibration and alignment checks; make adjustments, modifications, and replacements as directed.
- Prepare prescribed compounds and solutions.
Requirements
- Be enrolled full-time and pursuing an undergraduate or graduate degree from an accredited college/university AND graduating after August 2027.
- Be majoring in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or related STEM field.
- Be available to work full-time (40 hours per week) for at least 10 weeks during summer 2027.
- Be able to obtain and maintain a U.S. Government security clearance (U.S. citizenship is a pre-requisite) as well as Program Special access within a reasonable period of time, as determined by the company to meet its business needs (U.S. citizenship is a pre-requisite).
Qualifications
- Have an overall cumulative GPA of 3.25/4.0 or higher.
- Previous internship/co-op experience, leadership & teamwork capabilities, interpersonal communication skills, and activities (professional/community/extracurricular).

Pay
Intern Pay Range: Undergraduate degrees (Including graduating students planning on attending/enrolled in a full-time Master’s program): $21.50 to $39.00 per hour
Master’s: $30.50 to $48.00 per hour
Schedule
Full-time (40 hours per week) for at least 10 weeks during summer 2027.
