About the role
The Aeronautics Systems Intern Program at Northrop Grumman offers a dynamic environment where interns can develop their competencies in various engineering specializations, including electronics engineering.
Responsibilities
- Work from engineering drawings and written or verbal instructions.
- Operate related equipment; conduct tests and report data in prescribed format.
- Perform calibration and alignment checks; make adjustments, modifications, and replacements as directed.
- Prepare prescribed compounds and solutions.
Requirements
To qualify, candidates must:
- Be enrolled full-time and pursuing an undergraduate or graduate degree from an accredited college/university.
- Graduate after August 2027.
- Major in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or a related STEM field.
- Be available to work full-time (40 hours per week) for at least 10 weeks during summer 2027.
- Be able to obtain and maintain a U.S. Government security clearance and Program Special Access within a reasonable period of time.
Qualifications
Preferred qualifications include:
- An overall cumulative GPA of 3.25/4.0 or higher.
- Previous internship/co-op experience.
- Leadership & teamwork capabilities.
- Interpersonal communication skills.

Pay
Pay ranges based on anticipated graduation date, cost of labor, and position type:
- Undergraduate degrees (including graduating students planning on attending/enrolled in a full-time Master’s program): $21.50 to $39.00 per hour.
- Master’s: $30.50 to $48.00 per hour.
Schedule
Full-time (40 hours per week) for at least 10 weeks during summer 2027.
