About the Internship

During this 10-week summer experience, interns will gain hands-on exposure to the Finance organization while supporting projects that help drive business performance, financial planning, and strategic decision-making across the bank. You will gain practical experience, expand your professional network, and develop the foundational skills needed for a successful career in finance.

Primary Responsibilities

• Analyze financial and operational data to support business decision-making
• Contribute to forecasting, budgeting, and reporting activities
• Support strategic initiatives across Finance and other business units
• Create reports, presentations, and analyses for key stakeholders
• Collaborate with finance leaders and business partners across the organization
• Participate in professional development and networking opportunities
• Develop practical analytical, communication, and business skills through meaningful project work

Finance Functional Areas

Interns will be assigned to one of the following Finance functional areas:

• Corporate Treasury
• Corporate Finance & Financial Planning and Analysis (FP&A)
• Corporate Development
• Corporate Strategy
• Investor Relations
• Accounting

Requirements

• A student currently pursuing a Bachelor's degree with an emphasis in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Mathematics, or a related field
• Expected graduation between December 2027 and May 2029
• Ability to work 40 hours per week for 10 weeks during the summer in Birmingham, AL
• Regions will not sponsor applicants for work visas for this position. Applicants must be currently authorized to work in the United States on a full-time basis.
