About the role

The Regions Corporate Banking Group Analyst Program is a career-launching program for analyst positions in Regions’ Corporate Bank. Analysts are hired in one of three tracks: Corporate Banking, Real Estate Banking, or Commercial Banking.

The program starts with an intensive six-week training course covering financial accounting, corporate finance, credit analysis, financial modeling, valuation, and more. For the following two years, analysts receive continuous education, training, and mentorship.

Analysts create and analyze financial models, develop client presentations, conduct industry research, and serve as key members of deal teams. Responsibilities include credit underwriting support, drafting information memoranda, developing management and investor presentations, and facilitating the deal process from start to finish.

Responsibilities

  • Compile market data and perform in-depth industry and company-specific research
  • Provide fundamental credit analysis (including industry research, qualitative and quantitative company performance, financial statement analysis, and comparable transaction information)
  • Conduct and assist in due diligence
  • Prepare pitchbooks, supplemental analysis, and other client materials
  • Draft internal and external transaction-related materials
  • Create and analyze detailed financial models and valuation information
  • Monitor client market activity and credit profile

Corporate Banking Tracks: Capital Markets, Regions Business Capital, Diversified and Specialized Industries Coverage, Diversified and Specialized Industries Credit Products

Locations: Atlanta, Birmingham, Charlotte, Dallas, Nashville, Houston

Real Estate Banking Tracks: Real Estate Corporate Banking Coverage, Real Estate Credit Products, Real Estate Capital Markets

Locations: Atlanta, Birmingham, Charlotte, Dallas

Credit Products Tracks: Diversified and Specialized Industries, Real Estate Credit Products, Income Property Finance Credit Products, Commercial Development Program (3-year rotational program)

Locations: Varies across the Regions footprint

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field
  • Graduation date of December 2026 or May/June 2027
  • Currently authorized to work in the United States on a full-time basis (Regions will not sponsor applicants for work visas for this position)

Preferences:

  • Past relevant experience (e.g., summer internship)
  • Invited to and attended the Regions Corporate Bank Information Session
  • 3.0 minimum overall GPA

Pay

Pay ranges are job-specific and based on the Metropolitan Statistical Area Market Range for the position’s location and level. The target pay range for this position is:

  • Minimum: $48,714.44 USD
  • Median: $73,993.50 USD

This job is not incentive eligible.
