2027 Corporate Summer Internship - Human Resources

About the role

This in-person internship is located at our McLean, VA office and runs from June 1, 2027 to August 6, 2027. Interns will work full-time (40 hours per week) during the 10-week program.

Responsibilities

• Engage in impactful projects, participate in learning and development workshops, and build connections through networking and social events with Team Members and fellow interns.
• Support your assigned team by preparing reports, presentations, conducting research, and analyzing data.
• Encourage a culture of innovation and help develop new ideas and solutions.
• Utilize organizational, time management, and communication skills to effectively manage tasks and collaborate with your team.
• Collaborate with your manager and team to deliver a final presentation showcasing your internship experience and learnings.

Requirements

• Commit to a full 10-week program (40 hours per week) onsite in our McLean, VA office.
• Be a sophomore or junior in a post-secondary education program; or have less than one (1) year of professional experience.

Qualifications

• Held a leadership role in your community or engaged with a student-run organization.
• Internship or work experience in hospitality or customer service (e.g., server, front desk, volunteer, coach).
• Excel skills and comfort working with large data sets, including cleaning, organizing, validating, and summarizing data.
• Experience with PowerPoint and ability to present insights in a clear, polished, and audience-appropriate format.
• Exposure to Power BI or other reporting/data visualization tools.
• Experience translating data into clear insights, themes, and recommendations through effective storytelling.

Pay

The pay rate is $25.00 per hour with a one-time stipend of $2,500.00.
