About the Program
Our 10-week Corporate, Investment Banking & Markets (CIB&M) Summer Intern Program is designed for rising seniors, beginning in early June. It provides hands-on experience and business exposure in global finance, helping you build the foundation for a long, rewarding career. You will be placed with a specific group to concentrate on developing valuable skills and knowledge essential to becoming an integral part of the team.
You will work alongside MUFG professionals at all levels who serve as instructors and mentors. Summer interns support deals and client-focused projects by conducting financial analysis, modeling and research, and assisting with pitch books and presentations. The program helps you understand what it’s like to work within a global financial organization and decide your career path.
Training
After one week of in-depth technical, financial products, and/or markets training in New York, you will work alongside experienced colleagues on meaningful projects. Continuing on-the-job training is provided throughout the 10-week program.
Support & Guidance
Our team is committed to your success. You will be paired with a mentor/manager who will set goals, provide professional development, guidance, and conduct your performance review. Opportunities to network with peers, mentors, and senior managers are available through team-building sessions, speakers, and other organized events. Each summer intern receives a top-tier mentor in addition to their manager. The mentor provides goals, professional development guidance, and conducts performance reviews. By the end of the program, you will gain a better understanding of your group and how your role contributes to the bank’s success.
