About the role

At Regions, Clearsight Investment Banking Analysts support senior bankers in various aspects of the deal process, including due diligence, client onboarding, and reporting. They assist in cultivating client relationships by conducting market research and staying updated on client and industry trends. Analysts perform complex analysis, develop detailed financial models, interact with clients on engaged transactions, prepare written material, consolidate forecasts, budgets, and strategic plans, and provide timely, accurate, and reliable financial management information.

Responsibilities

• Supports senior bankers in all aspects of the deal process including due diligence, client onboarding and reporting
• Aids in the cultivation of client relationships by conducting market research and staying abreast of client and industry trends
• Performs complex analysis
• Develops and maintains detailed financial models
• Interacts with current and prospective clients
• Supports the preparation of written material, including marketing pitches, proposals, client materials and associated supporting analyses
• Consolidates and reports forecasts, annual budgets, and strategic plans
• Aids in the provision of timely, accurate, and reliable financial management information

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, or related field
• Past relevant experience (e.g., summer internships)

Preferences

• Masters of Business Administration (MBA)

• Ability to research, analyze data, and derive facts
• Ability to work in a team environment when applicable
• Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook, etc.)

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is job-specific and serves as a point-of-market reference for compensation decisions. Factors such as experience, skills, knowledge, contribution, job location, and performance impact pay for individual associates. The target information listed below is based on the Metropolitan Statistical Area Market Range for where the position is located and the level of the position.

• Minimum Job Range: $120,936.17 USD
• Median: $146,975.40 USD

This role is eligible to participate in a discretionary incentive plan. Employees have the potential to receive a discretionary award based on performance against defined metrics and goals.
