About the BOLT Intern Program

The BOLT (Building Opportunities & Learning Together) Intern Program is Kinder Morgan’s elite summer internship program, offering hands-on experience in the energy industry while enhancing professional and interpersonal skills through meaningful projects that support the company's vision of delivering energy to improve lives and create a better world.

What You Will Do

• Shadow Procurement team members and learn about the day-to-day purchasing process
• Work with internal customers and vendors to resolve issues
• Perform analysis such as commodity forecasting, historical spend, and other KPIs
• Work on cleanup of ERP system data, such as closing out purchase orders

What You Need

• Information Systems, Data Analytics, or Supply Chain student
• Intermediate level knowledge in Microsoft Office suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
• Good verbal and written communication skills
• Experience with Excel pivot tables and data analysis is valuable in this role
• Familiarity with an ERP system is a plus
