Each year, for three weeks in late summer, the US Open becomes the focus of the sports and entertainment universe, drawing over 1 million on-site visitors, 224 million television viewers worldwide, and billions of social media engagements. The USTA is a passionate team of staff and volunteers dedicated to growing the sport of tennis and making it accessible to all.

About the Role

We are seeking Seasonal Signage & Graphics Applicator team members who play an essential role in the US Open experience. Responsibilities include:

• Creating various US Open signs (e.g., hospitality signs, directional signs, logos for on-site use, fire safety signs, and sponsor signs)
• Ordering inventory sign supplies, vinyl, Plexiglas, and tools for all US Open projects
• Assisting with the installation and removal of signs
• Maintaining a daily log of all signs created (e.g., quantity, size, and department)
• Keeping the sign room organized
• Performing other duties as assigned

Requirements

• Must be creative and have the ability to design layouts
• Must have experience using Adobe Illustrator
• Ability to learn graphics software and operate a large format printer/plotter
• Must possess Microsoft Office skills
• Punctual and presentable shift attendance, neatly groomed in a clean, well-maintained uniform
• Must maintain a positive demeanor
• Excellent communication skills
• Available to work the full duration of the US Open tournament, including days, nights, weekends, and extended hours
• Must be able to work autonomously and as part of a team
