2026 SkillBridge Intern *Open to Active Duty US Military Only* (US Remote)

About the Role
This internship provides a bridge between military service and a meaningful career in healthcare, allowing participants to continue their tradition of service by helping make healthcare better for all. We are honored to support transitioning military professionals as they navigate this next chapter.
Eligibility Requirements
- Active-duty service members within their last 180 days of service at the time of internship start.
- Participants must receive approval from their commanding officer and service branch to engage in SkillBridge.
- A minimum of 12 weeks of commitment is required for internship placement at Blue Cross NC.
- Candidates must have a clear end-of-service date that aligns with the internship timeline.
Program Compliance
The Blue Cross NC SkillBridge Program is conducted in accordance with Department of Defense (DoD) policies, guidance, and regulations. Participation is subject to DoD approval, and all service members must adhere to applicable program requirements throughout their internship.
Additional Considerations
- Service members are responsible for their own housing, transportation, and living expenses during the internship.
- Participation in the internship does not imply a future employment offer but provides valuable industry experience.
- Interns must adhere to all company policies and professional conduct standards throughout the program.

Salary Range: At Blue Cross NC, we take great pride in a fair and equitable compensation package that reflects market-price and our starting salaries are typically planned near the middle of the range listed. Compensation decisions are driven by factors including experience and training, specialized skill sets, licensure and certifications, and other business and organizational needs.
