About the role
We are seeking a missile effectiveness analyst to help us characterize and evaluate missile performance against precision strike platforms in complex environments. Our team conducts high fidelity physics-based modeling while collaborating with authorities in other fields including: GN&C, RF / IR Engineering, Electronic Warfare, Software Development, Systems Engineering and more!
Responsibilities
- Use engagement-level models and simulations to assess the effectiveness and optimal employment of both legacy and innovative U.S. strike missiles in 1-v-1 or 1-v-few scenarios
- Collaborate with a multi-disciplinary team to use, develop and improve modeling capabilities and adversary missile models
- Build and leverage novel data visualization tools for large and complex data sets
- Prepare and present formal documentation to technical specialists, operational partners, and government sponsors
- Collaborate with mission-level analysts and inform their modeling efforts
Requirements
- Have a Bachelor’s degree in Aerospace Engineering, Physics, Computer Science, Mathematics, or another engineering field
- Experience with data processing languages such as MATLAB and Python
- Experience using physics-based simulations and investigating the driving factors behind performance
- Experience solving complex problems using defined and documented processes
- Able to obtain an Interim Secret level security clearance by your start date and can ultimately obtain Secret level clearance
Qualifications
- You meet our minimum qualifications if you have a Bachelor’s degree in Aerospace Engineering, Physics, Computer Science, Mathematics, or another engineering field
- You go above and beyond our minimum requirements if you have a Master’s degree in Aerospace Engineering, Physics, Computer Science, Mathematics, or another engineering field
- You have experience in the modeling and simulation of missile or other aerospace systems
- You have experience with Simulink, Fortran, or an object-oriented language such as C++
- You have experience working with software versioning systems such as Git or SVN
- You have experience working with external customers and partners
Skills

$85,000 - $165,000 Annually
