2026 Facilities Maintenance Technician $22.00/hr

Responsibilities

• Follow all policies and procedures of Six Flags Hurricane Harbor Concord and the Maintenance Department.
• Adhere to all federal and state guidelines, regulations, and laws.
• Perform regular mechanical, electrical, and plumbing repairs and preventative maintenance.
• Ensure proper use of machines, tools, and equipment; instruct and train employees on safe tool and equipment usage and ensure personal protective equipment is used.
• Perform frequent daily site inspections of ongoing work and review upcoming work.
• Check Park areas frequently for any needed repairs and maintenance.
• Conduct rounds of all filtration areas to inspect pumps.
• Perform basic water testing using correct lab practices and procedures.
• Use computers for communication, chemical monitoring/operation, reference, and reports/logs.
• Keep records and inventory.
• Participate in inter- and intra-departmental cross-training programs.
• Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

• Prior experience as a Ride Mechanic, Water Quality Technician, or equivalent experience preferred.
• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Valid driver’s license required.
• Excellent organization, multitasking, and prioritization skills.
• Working knowledge of federal, state, and other regulatory agency rules and regulations.
• Proven ability to meet deadlines.
• Ability to lift and carry up to 50 lbs. and perform bending, squatting, and kneeling.
• Working knowledge of hand and power tools, heavy equipment, and ability to train others on safe equipment usage.
• Ability to work outdoors in all weather conditions, including muddy, dusty, wet, and dirty environments.
• Must be able to work evenings, weekends, and holidays.
• Minimum age of 18.
