About the role

Seneca Foods Cambria East, WI location is currently recruiting Seasonal Production Workers. Work will be available for Peas and Corn from mid-June through the beginning of October. These dates are tentative and can be affected by the weather and crop availability.

Job duties

• Fulfill various production line positions in our food production facility, processing fresh vegetables
• Perform sanitation functions regularly to prepare the plant for the next scheduled production run
• Provide relief during other employees' break periods
• Maintain a clean and safe work area
• Other duties assigned

Requirements

• Willingness and ability to work and function in a team environment
• Good attention to detail and accuracy
• Strong work ethic
• Good Attendance
• Follow all Good Manufacturing Practices (GMPs) and safety policies/procedures

Physical requirements

• Ability to stand, walk, bend, sit, climb, and move hands and arms to grasp and manipulate objects by pushing and pulling
• Ability to work indoors or outdoors in adverse conditions, including high temperatures and humidity
• Ability to lift to 35 pounds frequently and up to 50 pounds occasionally

Schedule

• 12-hour shifts
• Paid overtime for hours over 40 per week
