2026-27 Merchandise Intern - In-Season
Position Overview
The Atlanta Gladiators are seeking highly motivated, outgoing, and dedicated candidates for their In-Season Merchandising Internship Program. Candidates should expect to build upon their work experience in the fast-paced, results-driven world of the ECHL. Finalists will be contacted for interviews. All applications will be kept on file until the beginning of the internship program that each candidate applied for.
Timeline
The ideal timeline for this internship is August - April, coinciding with the completion of the Gladiators season.

Responsibilities
- Attend all home games of the Atlanta Gladiators.
- Gameday: Assist with set up of Team Store each gameday. Run POS (Point-of-Sale) during games to check out customers. Provide excellent customer service and assist with any questions that they may have. Restock items and maintain the shelves in the store during the games. Assist with break down of Team Store post-game.
- In-Office: Attend office hours during the week to gain further experience in merchandising. Receive new inventory physically and into Shopify inventory. Fulfill online orders on Shopify. Create and fulfill online DASH auctions. Participate in inventory maintenance days at the arena. Observe merchandise ordering and reporting processes. Other duties as assigned.
Internship Requirements
- Able to work all remaining home games (including necessary nights, weekends and holidays)
- Working towards a four-year college degree or graduate degree or recent graduate in Marketing, Business Administration, or Sports Management
- Housing and transportation in the Atlanta/Duluth Area
- Interest in retail sales and operation (specifically in sports)
- Strong organizational and oral/written communication skills
- Proven ability to work independently and take ownership of projects
- Strong professional attitude
- Experience in the sports industry preferred
- Knowledge of Shopify a plus
- Able to lift up to 30 pounds
- Frequent standing, bending, lifting, walking
Compensation
This is a non-paid internship. If an intern needs school credit, they can receive hours.
