About the role
The Undergraduate Education (UED) department at California State University, Chico is seeking to fill a pool of lecturers for the 2026-27 academic year. Positions are available as needed and appointments are temporary.
Responsibilities
- Teach courses in Honors, First-Year Experience, and Undergraduate Research as outlined in the University Catalog.
- Adapt teaching methods to accommodate diverse student populations.
- Contribute to inclusive and anti-racist pedagogical practices.
- Support equitable student success through curricular and co-curricular programs.
Requirements
- A master’s degree in a relevant academic discipline.
- Experience teaching in a related field.
- Evidence of teaching excellence.

Pay
- Lecturer A/2 Full-Time Equivalent: $5,507 – $6,677 per month.
- Lecturer B/3 Full-Time Equivalent: $6,221 – $13,224 per month.
- Lecturer C/4 Full-Time Equivalent: $6,825 – $14,523 per month.
- Lecturer D/5 Full-Time Equivalent: $8,593 – $15,211 per month.
Schedule
Appointments are temporary and are made just prior to the start of the academic term.
