About the Role

The Department of Management and Marketing seeks part-time lecturers to teach courses on an as-needed basis throughout the 2026-27 academic year. This pool is used to fill short-term temporary positions, with appointments lasting from one day to a full semester. Applications are valid only for the current academic year and must be resubmitted annually.

Qualifications

  • Minimum Qualifications:
    • MBA or related graduate degree in the relevant field, or
    • Bachelor's degree and significant professional experience in the relevant field.
  • Preferred Qualifications:
    • MBA or related graduate degree in the relevant field
    • 3+ years of work experience
    • Prior teaching experience, particularly with a diverse, undergraduate student body

Pay

Salary is dependent on educational preparation and experience, with appointments subject to budgetary authorization. The salary ranges for the Lecturer - Academic Year Classification are as follows:

  • Lecturer AY (Range 2): $5,507 - $6,677
  • Lecturer AY (Range 3): $6,221 - $13,224
  • Lecturer AY (Range 4): $6,825 - $14,523
  • Lecturer AY (Range 5): $8,593 - $15,211

The anticipated hiring range is generally at or near the minimum of the appropriate range, commensurate with education and experience. Salary is pro-rated for part-time assignments.
