About the role
Temporary, part-time lecturer position in Finance for the 2026–2027 academic year, with appointments possible in Fall 2026 and/or Spring 2027. Appointments may range from a single day to a full semester and are filled on an as-needed basis. Applications are accepted on a continuous basis; a new application must be submitted each academic year. The pool closes May 31; to be considered for the next academic year, apply to the new pool available by June 15.
Minimum Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance or a closely related field with an accounting concentration, plus a professional accounting credential (e.g., CFA, CFP, or CLU); or
- Graduate degree in a business-related field with substantial industry experience in finance.
Preferred Qualifications
- Ph.D. in Finance or a closely related field, or equivalent professional experience.
- Prior university-level teaching experience.
Rank and Salary
Lecturer (A–D rank). Anticipated salary is generally at or near the minimum of the appropriate range, commensurate with education and experience. Part-time salaries are prorated from the following full-time equivalent monthly ranges:
- Lecturer A: $5,507 – $6,677
- Lecturer B: $6,221 – $13,224
- Lecturer C: $6,825 – $14,523
- Lecturer D: $8,593 – $15,211
