About the role

The College of Engineering, Computer Science, and Construction Management (ECC) at California State University (CSU), Chico is seeking to hire a pool of lecturers for the 2026-27 academic year. Positions are available as needed.

Responsibilities

• Teach lower division and upper division GE courses in technology, innovation, and science fiction.
• Assignments are based on qualifications and departmental needs.

Requirements

• Minimum education: M.S., M.A., B.S., or B.A. plus three years of work experience in science, technology, or related fields.
• Preferred qualifications: Experience teaching science and technology to diverse students, industrial experience in product design and development, and relevant professional licenses, credentials, and specializations.

• Current cover letter detailing teaching strategies for diverse student groups.
• CV highlighting relevant experience and qualifications.
• List of courses you are qualified to teach and desire to be considered.
• Unofficial transcripts for your highest earned degree.
