2026-27 In School Restriction Teacher

This is a non-certified, hourly position.

Pay

$12.50 an hour, on an as-needed basis.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma
• Demonstrates aptitude for job to be performed

Responsibilities

• Takes necessary and reasonable precautions to protect students, equipment, and facilities
• Accepts responsibility and arrives punctually for activities and duties as assigned
• Maintains appropriate emotional control, physical health, and personal appearance
• Demonstrates fiscal responsibility as relates to school equipment and supplies
• Communicates with cafeteria daily on how many lunches to prepare
• Communicates with teachers regarding assignments for students placed in ISR
• Checks for completion of assigned work before students are allowed to return to the regular classroom
• Returns completed assignments to the teachers
• Maintains a quiet environment conducive to learning
• Strictly enforces the discipline procedures of the ISR classroom in order to achieve behavior modification
• Performs such other tasks as assigned by supervisor

Physical Demands

• Ability to stand, walk, squat frequently
• Ability to lift up to 10 pounds frequently
• Ability to walk or move long distances from location to location around the building multiple times each day
