JOB SUMMARY

Under general supervision, performs a variety of technical and clerical tasks in assisting a teacher in providing direct and indirect services to students with disabilities as assigned. Employee provides one-on-one assistance with academics and behavioral problems, and may lead small group activities. Employee assists teacher with general housekeeping and clerical duties.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Assists with academic instruction and reinforcement
• Provides one-on-one assistance with academics and behavioral problems
• Led small group activities as directed by the teacher
• Supervises students on the playground, during bathroom breaks, at lunch time, and on field trips
• Assists with general housekeeping and clerical duties
