2026-27 CT Student Services Manager of Culture

About the role

The school-based operations team is a cornerstone of the Achievement First model and is designed to support the principal in non-instructional obligations so that they can focus almost exclusively on student achievement and the professional development of the teaching staff.

Responsibilities

• Culture and Event Planning
• Collaborate with the school leadership team to plan and execute school special events, such as report card nights and award ceremonies.
• Aid in organizing and implementing field lessons and other school culture-related activities.
• Support the Director of School Operations in fostering a positive and inclusive school culture.
• Cook up logistics for cultural events and ensure seamless execution.
• Collaborate with community partners to bring external cultural experiences to the school, creating enriching opportunities for students.
• Integrate cultural enrichment opportunities into the curriculum, fostering a holistic and inclusive educational environment.
• Student Services
• Coordinate daily student food services, troubleshoot issues, and track meal consumption.
• Manage daily student transportation services, address issues, and conduct required emergency drills.
• Cook up student health services, monitor health trends, and collaborate with nursing staff for student care.

Benefits

Compensation & Benefits
Student Services Managers' salaries range from $62,896- $82,065 based on experience and location.
Employees are eligible for benefits including medical, dental, vision, life insurance, a 403(b) retirement benefit package with a match, and paid Family Leave as regular full-time employees of Achievement First.
The role is full-time and with an expectation of an average of 45 hours maximum per week.
