2026-27 Campus Support - Indian Bend ES

Essential Functions

• Affords safe access to and from assigned locations for students.
• Communicates safety and security policies and enforcement procedures to students, staff, and visitors.
• Maintains job-related equipment for availability.
• Maintains surveillance of students in various settings.
• Reports incidents involving personal injuries, altercations, suspicious activities, rule violations, etc.
• Reports observations and incidents related to specific students.
• Responds to inquiries from students and parents regarding campus security issues.
• Responds to emergencies and incidents requiring immediate safety and security measures.
• Supports classroom teachers and other school personnel.

Other Functions

• Participates in unit meetings, in-service training, workshops, etc.
• Performs other related duties as assigned.

Job Requirements

• Skills: Adhering to safety practices, enforcing rules and regulations.
• Knowledge: Understanding safety practices and procedures, traffic laws.
• Abilities: Scheduling activities, collating data, using basic job-related equipment.

Responsibilities

• Working under direct supervision using standardized routines.
• Providing information and/or advising others.

Work Environment

• Physical Demands: Some lifting, carrying, pushing, and/or pulling; significant fine finger dexterity.
• Workstation: Sitting 40%, walking 30%, standing 30%.
• Risk of Injury and Illness: Exposure to temperature extremes and risk of injury and illness.
