About the role
Substitute Teacher positions for the 2026–2027 school year. It is the responsibility of the Substitute Teacher to carry out the absent teacher’s prepared lesson plans. During a prolonged absence, the substitute is responsible for performing all essential functions identified in the absent teacher’s job description.
Responsibilities
- Carry out the absent teacher’s prepared lesson plans.
- Perform all essential functions identified in the absent teacher’s job description during prolonged absences.
Requirements
- Valid California Teaching Credential or valid California 30-Day Substitute Permit.
- Bachelor’s degree from an accredited university (must be posted on transcript).
- Proof of TB test and Fingerprint Clearance (required upon hire).
Qualifications
- Teaching experience is preferred but not required.
- Professional, courteous, and dedicated to providing outstanding service to students.

Pay
$190/day; $215/day for long-term assignments (10 or more consecutive days).
