Requirements

• Letter of interest
• Resume
• Copy of official transcripts verifying an Associate's degree or higher from an accredited college or a minimum of 60 credit hours from an accredited college (original official transcripts must be provided at new hire orientation)
• OR copy of qualifying Praxis Paraprofessional test scores of 456 or higher
• Negative TB test results under 1 year old (BCSD strongly encourages all applicants to upload their TB test results; if the applicant has not completed the test, they will be required to upload a word document acknowledging that the results will be uploaded as soon as the test is completed; a delay in submitting TB test results will postpone the onboarding process if selected for a position)

Additional information

• Paraprofessional Praxis exams are offered through Berkeley County School District and Dorchester District 2; there is a registration cost of $75 that must be submitted at the time the test is administered
• Applicants will be contacted by the school/location they have applied to within 3 weeks if selected for an interview
• Depending on the volume of applications received, all applicants may not be interviewed for this position
• Applicants may be considered for multiple vacancies

Salary Rate: $26,280 – $41,691
