Requirements
- Complete and submit online application in APPLITRACK with all required documents scanned and uploaded
- Letter of Interest
- Resume
- Copy of official transcripts verifying an Associate's degree or higher from an accredited college OR a minimum of 60 credit hours from an accredited college (original official transcripts must be provided at new hire orientation)
- OR copy of qualifying Praxis Paraprofessional test scores of 456 or higher
- Negative TB test results under 1 year old (BCSD strongly encourages uploading TB test results; if not completed, upload a Word document acknowledging results will be uploaded as soon as test is completed — delay will postpone onboarding process if selected)
Additional Information
- Paraprofessional Praxis exams are offered through Berkeley County School District and Dorchester District 2; registration cost is $75, due at time of test administration
- Applicants will be contacted by the school/location within 3 weeks if selected for an interview; please do not call the district regarding interview status
- Depending on application volume, all applicants may not be interviewed
