Requirements

• Complete and submit online application in APPLITRACK with all required documents scanned and uploaded (documents will not be accepted otherwise)
• Letter of Interest
• Resume
• Copy of official transcripts verifying an Associate's degree or higher from an accredited college, OR a minimum of 60 credit hours from an accredited college (original official transcripts must be provided at new hire orientation)
• OR copy of qualifying Praxis Paraprofessional test scores of 456 or higher
• Negative TB test results under 1 year old (BCSD strongly encourages uploading TB test results; if not completed, upload a Word document acknowledging results will be uploaded as soon as test is completed — delay in submitting will postpone onboarding if selected)

Additional information

• Paraprofessional Praxis exams are offered through Berkeley County School District and Dorchester District 2; registration cost is $75, due at time of test administration
• Applicants will be contacted by the school/location within 3 weeks if selected for an interview — please do not call the district regarding interview status
• Depending on application volume, not all applicants may be interviewed
• Applicants may be considered for multiple vacancies

Pay

Salary Rate: $26,280 – $41,691
