Requirements

• Letter of interest
• Resume
• Copy of official transcripts verifying an Associate's degree or higher from an accredited college, or a minimum of 60 credit hours from an accredited college (original official transcripts must be provided at new hire orientation)
• OR copy of qualifying Praxis Paraprofessional test scores of 456 or higher (Paraprofessional Praxis exams are offered through Berkeley County School District and Dorchester District 2; registration cost is $75, payable at the time of testing; contact Adult Education at 843-899-8690 for more information)
• Negative TB test results under 1 year old (BCSD strongly encourages uploading results; if not yet completed, upload a Word document acknowledging that results will be uploaded as soon as the test is completed — delays will postpone the onboarding process)

• Required documents must be scanned and uploaded in APPLITRACK; documents will not be accepted otherwise
• Complete and submit the online application along with all required documents; incomplete applications will not be reviewed
• Applicants will be contacted by the school/location they applied to within 3 weeks if selected for an interview — please do not call the district regarding interview status
• Depending on application volume, not all applicants may be interviewed; applicants may be considered for multiple vacancies
