About the role

The primary location for this position is at PARADISE ES. This is a day job within the Region Two organization.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct instruction in reading, writing, and language development to students in grades K-5.
• Implement evidence-based literacy programs aligned with district standards.
• Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and other specialists to support student learning and achievement.
• Evaluate student progress and adjust instructional strategies accordingly.
• Participate in professional development activities to enhance teaching skills and knowledge.

Requirements

• A Standard-Elementary: Grade Level K–5 or K–8 teaching license issued by the NDE.
• A valid driver’s license or state-issued identification card.

Qualifications

• Experience working with elementary school students.
• Strong background in reading, writing, and language development.
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively with colleagues and students.

Skills

• Knowledge of current educational research and best practices in literacy education.
• Proficiency in using technology tools for teaching and assessment.
• Ability to manage a classroom effectively.
