Instructional Strategist (2026/2027 School Year)
Job Description
The Instructional Strategist will work closely with teachers and administrators to develop and implement innovative instructional strategies that enhance student learning outcomes. This role requires a deep understanding of educational theory and practice, as well as strong facilitation and collaboration skills.
About the Role
This position is based at Somerton Middle School and will support the academic success of students through strategic planning and implementation of effective teaching methods.
Responsibilities
- Develop and implement innovative instructional strategies aligned with district goals and standards.
- Collaborate with teachers to design and deliver professional development workshops focused on best practices in education.
- Evaluate current instructional practices and provide feedback to improve student engagement and achievement.
- Assess student progress and provide targeted interventions to address learning gaps.
- Stay updated with the latest research and trends in education and incorporate these into classroom practices.
Requirements
- A Master’s degree in Education, Curriculum and Instruction, or a related field.
- At least three years of experience in educational leadership or teaching.
- Experience in developing and implementing curriculum and instructional strategies.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively with a diverse group of educators and stakeholders.
Qualifications
- Knowledge of educational theories and practices.
- Experience with data analysis and interpretation.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.

Pay
