About the role

Martial Arts Instructor positions are available at East Harlem Middle School for part-time and seasonal programs. These positions offer full-season (yearlong) opportunities.

Responsibilities

• Teach various martial arts disciplines to students in grades 6-8
• Develop and implement lesson plans aligned with school curriculum
• Ensure safety and proper technique during classes
• Collaborate with teachers and staff to integrate martial arts into the school’s overall program

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in education or related field
• Experience teaching martial arts or equivalent experience
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
• Ability to work flexible hours including evenings and weekends
