Responsibilities
- Conceive of and create an age-appropriate curriculum for your class
- Create memorable experiences for the children in your class to help them grow and develop a passion for your martial art
- Consistently arrive at your class on time (or early!), prepared with the lesson plan for the day
- Help children understand why martial arts are so wonderful and how they've helped shape you as a person
Requirements
- A fun, enthusiastic, adaptable instructor
- Experience teaching school age children
- Excitement, joy, and passion for both teaching kids and personal development/learning
- Ability to create a fun, structured, and inclusive classroom environment
- Bring your own voice and creativity to each class you teach
- Be cooperative, supportive, and flexible
- Be dependable, proactive, and thrive when given autonomy
Qualifications
- Relevant teaching experience
- If lacking formal teaching experience, provide any other relevant experience or training
