About the role

Elementary School Teacher responsible for delivering instruction in accordance with the Clark County School District curriculum and Nevada Academic Content Standards.

Responsibilities

• Plan, prepare, and deliver lesson plans and instructional materials that facilitate active learning.
• Differentiate instruction to meet the diverse needs of all students.
• Establish and communicate clear objectives for all learning activities.
• Assess student learning through formal and informal assessments and provide feedback to students, parents, and administration.
• Manage student behavior in the classroom by establishing and enforcing rules and procedures.
• Collaborate with colleagues, parents, and community members to support student learning and development.
• Maintain accurate and complete records of students' progress and development.
• Participate in professional development opportunities to enhance teaching skills and knowledge.
• Perform other duties as assigned by the school administration.

Requirements

• Valid Nevada teaching license with an endorsement in Elementary Education (K-8) or ability to obtain one.
• Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university.
• Demonstrated knowledge of Nevada Academic Content Standards and effective instructional strategies.
• Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with students, staff, parents, and the community.
• Strong communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
