About the role

The role is responsible for teaching students with special educational needs in a supportive environment.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement lesson plans aligned with district curriculum standards.
• Provide individualized instruction to meet the diverse learning needs of students.
• Collaborate with other educators, parents, and support staff to enhance student outcomes.
• Evaluate student progress and adjust instructional strategies accordingly.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Education or related field.
• Valid teaching license in Special Education.
• At least two years of relevant teaching experience, including experience working with students with special educational needs.
• Ability to work effectively with a diverse student population.

Qualifications

• Strong interpersonal skills and ability to build positive relationships with students, families, and colleagues.
• Knowledge of current best practices in special education and inclusive teaching methods.
• Proficiency in using technology to enhance teaching and learning.
