About the role
The primary role is to teach Early Childhood Special Education students.
Responsibilities
- Plan and implement lesson plans aligned with district curriculum standards.
- Provide differentiated instruction to meet the diverse needs of students.
- Collaborate with other special education teachers and support staff to develop individualized education programs (IEPs).
- Assess student progress and adjust teaching strategies accordingly.
- Participate in team meetings and professional development activities.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Early Childhood Special Education or related field.
- Valid Idaho teaching license with endorsement in Early Childhood Special Education.
- Experience working with children with special needs preferred.
Qualifications
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
- Pass a background check.
Skills
- Knowledge of early childhood development and special education best practices.
- Proficiency in using educational technology tools.
- Ability to manage classroom behavior and maintain a safe learning environment.
