About the role

The position is for an Early Childhood Special Education teacher focusing on Autism at the EARL and Marion B. ES locations. The role involves teaching children with autism spectrum disorders in an early childhood setting.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) for students with special needs.
  • Provide differentiated instruction to meet the diverse learning needs of students.
  • Collaborate with other professionals such as therapists and parents to support student progress.
  • Evaluate student progress and adjust teaching strategies accordingly.

Requirements

  • A bachelor's degree in Early Childhood Special Education or a related field.
  • A valid teaching license in Early Childhood Special Education.
  • Experience working with children with autism spectrum disorders.
  • Knowledge of autism-specific interventions and strategies.

Qualifications

  • At least three years of relevant work experience in early childhood education.
  • Experience working with diverse populations and inclusive practices.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with a team.

Pay

The salary range for this position is $45,000 - $55,000 annually, depending on qualifications and experience.

Schedule

The schedule for this position is Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM - 4:00 PM.
