Who Can Apply?
- Be currently enrolled in a university program that leads to a school leadership license.

- Your university must have an active Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) with our Human Resources department.
Placement Process
Our goal is to offer high-quality unpaid internship placements that support your professional growth. While we always do our best to consider your preferences, specific requests cannot be guaranteed.
Administrative Unpaid Internship Placements are not to be made by the prospective intern. To help us find the best possible placement for you, please include all relevant details in your application. The more information you provide, the better we can match you with a setting that aligns with your learning goals and timeline.
Please note Jordan School District currently does not have any year round schools, so placements requesting year round school option are no longer available.
JSD Employee Requests: Unpaid administrative internships must be completed off contract time and outside regular school assignments. These placements should enhance an intern's administrative experience. As a result, it is uncommon for these placements to occur at the intern's current school location.
Supervising principals will submit a reference form to Human Resources for each intern they supervise once the intern has completed their internship hours at the school location.
Out Of District Requests
Before being assigned an unpaid administrative internship in JSD, ALL out of district administrative interns must complete a BCI background check, which will allow JSD to receive their BCI report.
Fingerprinting is available by appointment only. You will receive an email upon completion of this application to schedule your appointment.
