Internship Overview
The City of Temple Internship program is open to students from all academic disciplines. Many intern roles do not require previous experience and offer opportunities to gain knowledge alongside your coursework.
About the Role
You will assist departmental teams on projects and services during an unpaid, part-time internship. You will be assigned an intern mentor who will help identify project goals, inspire, mentor, and support your professional and educational development.
Responsibilities
- Assist departmental teams on projects and services
- Work on assignments core to the City of Temple’s business
- Support professional and educational development
Requirements
- Currently enrolled in a Bachelor's program, or currently enrolled in a Master's program
- Completed at least twelve (12) credit hours in courses relative to departmental function
- Cumulative GPA of 3.0 or greater (upload transcripts with application)
- Must receive internship credit from a formal education program or institution (upload class syllabus and institutional requirements of the internship with application)
