About the role

The Department of Women & Gender Studies at SUNY Brockport is seeking applicants for anticipated part-time adjunct faculty openings.

Job Functions

  • Teaches assigned courses in Women and Gender Studies
  • Engages in experiential and hands-on education when appropriate
  • Produces effective course materials
  • Achieves student learning outcomes

Requirements

  • Minimum Qualifications: Master's degree in women and gender studies or a related field by the time of appointment from a college or university accredited by the U.S. Department of Education or an internationally recognized college/university, or seven years of experience in a gender studies-related field
  • PREFERRED Qualifications: Doctorate in women and gender studies or related field, Significant teaching experience

Additional Information

  • Salary And Benefits: $5,500 stipend per 3 credit course or 3 credit course equivalent. May be benefits eligible.
  • Work Schedule: Variable
