The Department of Physics at SUNY Brockport is accepting applications for part-time adjunct faculty openings.
Job Functions
Teaches assigned courses in the Department of Physics (laboratory sections for the algebra-based and/or calculus-based sequences of introductory Physics)
Engages in experiential and hands-on education when appropriate
Produces effective course materials
Achieves student learning outcomes
Requirements
Minimum qualifications: Master's degree in physics or a related field by time of appointment from a college or university accredited by the U.S. Department of Education or an internationally recognized college or university, or equivalent professional experience
Preferred Qualifications: Doctorate in physics or a related field, Significant teaching experience
Additional Information
Work Schedule: Variable
Salary And Benefits: $5,500 stipend per 3 credit course or 3 credit course equivalent. May be benefits eligible.
