2026-2027 0.6 FTE Math Intervention Specialist - Copper Ridge K-8

Duties & Responsibilities

• Collaborate with curriculum team members and other interventions specialists to enhance professional learning and refine instructional skills.
• Implement and comply with district Title I requirements, including completing reports, needs assessments, budgets, and organizing special events.
• Attend necessary trainings and meetings related to the role.
• Coordinate, design, facilitate, and evaluate professional development aligned with school improvement goals.
• Locate and provide resources to support instruction.
• Aid teachers in analyzing various forms of student achievement data, perception data, demographic data, and school process data to inform instructional decisions.
• Support teachers in selecting effective, research-based instructional strategies to meet diverse learning needs.
• Model or co-teach lessons, conduct demonstration classrooms, and provide feedback on instruction or management.
• Facilitate protocols for examining student work/data and strategies for differentiating instruction.
• Support teachers in forming study groups and collaborating with colleagues.
• Engage in continuous improvement planning for the school's Title I program.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Education & Experience

• Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution, with a Master’s degree preferred.
• Arizona teacher certification aligned to grade levels where assigned.
• Minimum five years successful teaching experience, with a reading endorsement preferred.
• Commitment to lifelong learning and active participation in school improvement initiatives.
• Evidence of teacher leadership within the school and/or district.
• Proficiency in using technology, specifically Excel, at some sites.
