$2000 Sign-On Bonus! -Plant Maintenance Technician 2-2-3
About the role
Daily's is hiring for Maintenance Technicians. Starting at $31/hr, up to DOE. Perform mechanic tasks like troubleshooting, repairing, and maintaining production and packaging machines.
Responsibilities
- Able to read and interpret equipment manuals and work orders.
- Provide emergency repairs on production equipment.
- Use power tools, drill press, weld, shop tools, etc.
- Perform scheduled maintenance repairs.
- Diagnose and replace/repair parts as needed.
- Dismantle defective machines and install new/repaired parts.
- Adjust various types of devices and control systems.
- Clean and lubricate parts as required.
- Confirm equipment operates to production standards.
- Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
- Five years of industrial maintenance experience preferred.
- Food or medical plant experience preferred.
- Knowledge of GMP and food manufacturing best practices preferred.
- Basic hydraulics/pneumatics, basic conveyor maintenance, building and grounds maintenance, electrical experience (including PLC/VFD knowledge), ammonia refrigeration experience preferred.
- Able to speak, read, and write in English. Bilingual skills (English/Spanish) a plus.
- Able to read and follow blueprints and electrical diagrams.
- Experience in preventative maintenance.
- Experience in a fast-paced, cold, wet production environment.
- Able to interface well with production line workers and supervisors.
- Ability to apply mathematical concepts and interpret instructions.
Benefits
Gross signing bonuses totaling $2,000 paid out as follows: 25% at 30 days of employment - $500, 50% at 60 days of employment - $1,000, 25% at 180 days of employment - $500.
Pay
$31 - Up to DOE
Schedule
2-2-3, 12-hour shifts per day.
Bonus Structure
Performance and attendance expectations must be met within the first 180 days. Gross signing bonuses totaling $2,000 will be paid out as follows: 25% at 30 days of employment - $500, 50% at 60 days of employment - $1,000, 25% at 180 days of employment - $500.
